Energy and Climate Change 101: Regional Training for all CCE staff

The CCE Statewide Energy & Climate Change Team Presents:

Energy & Climate Change 101: Regional Training for ALL CCE Staff

These one-day training sessions are part of an effort to raise the basic knowledge of energy and climate change of the CCE System, with the aim of enhancing and advancing our credibility and niche in this important issue area. We encourage EDs to free up your staff for the day or for appropriate sections of the day.

All CCE staff are invited to learn more about the basics of energy production and consumption; renewable energy; basics of climate change; energy at home and in our offices; incorporating energy & climate change into existing CCE Programs; and regional programming & funding opportunities, including an update on the NYS Cleaner Greener Initiative. In the afternoon, we will facilitate breakout sessions for small group discussion on youth programming, agriculture, family and consumer issues, and sustainable energy and natural resource programming.

Lunch and materials are provided. Free and open to all CCE Staff (administrative staff and educators).

Sessions up until approximately 1:30 pm are intended for all staff; afternoon sessions are geared toward educators (but all staff are welcome to participate). See registration sites for details.

Many thanks to all the host Associations!
