Now announcing the June 2012 4-H Geospatial Science In-service at Cornell

The attached file outlining a 4-H GIS/GPS In-service program may be of interest to you and/or your staff and volunteers. We have enough registered already to make it a “go” but there is still room and we encourage you to consider sending representative(s) from your county to this valuable training program. Therefore we are extending the deadline a few more days.

Through the three day training participants will learn and bring home resources that will be usable in your county to begin or continue with 4-H Geospatial Science.

Please keep in mind that with many of the “technology related” 4-H Science projects, a youth and adult partnership is a great way to implement activities. Teen Leaders who are committed to working directly with you and adult volunteers, upon return to the county, are welcome to attend. We realize it is during school year end, testing, etc. , but want to be sure you understand the invitation.
