Join our Revolution of Responsibility at the 4-H Volunteer Forum for this fall is looking for really neat and powerful community service project ideas, presented by youth, that can be shared as part of the Friday evening program. If you have youth in your county who have created, planned and/or completed powerful community service projects, we would like to invite them to give a short presentation to the 4-H Volunteers on Friday, November 9th at the Riverwalk Hotel in Binghamton, NY. They would be asked to present and share dinner with volunteers from across the state, providing an inspiration and motivation to enact powerful community service projects in their community 4-H programs. Please let me know if you have any youth who are interested in participating in this prestigious conference.

NYS 4-H Youth Development would like to invite Cornell Faculty and Staff, as well as Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) colleagues, volunteers and partners to participate in the volunteer forum on November 9 & 10 2012. Please submit a letter of intent outlining a workshop proposal by June 1, 2012. Workshops and "Did you know" presentations are needed. Workshops should be 1 ½ hours in length. "Did you know" presentations are like round table topics to help provide volunteers with hands on educational experiences and/or opportunities. This year the Volunteer Forum focus is Youth Community Action, and Citizenship. The goal is for workshops and activities to incorporate tools that volunteers can take back to the youth they work with.

Please use the link, NYS 4-H Volunteer Forum Workshop RFP, or the go to the State 4-H website at and click the link for the forms.
