NYSCA Annual Grants Program for 2012

The New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) has opened the registration period for the Annual Grants Program for projects that will take place starting no earlier than July 1, 2012 and ending no later than December 31, 2013.

NYSCA supports projects in the following discipline and field-related program areas: Architecture, Planning and Design; Arts Education; Dance; Electronic Media and Film; Folk Arts; Individual Artists; Literature; Museum; Music; Presenting; Special Arts Services; Theatre; and Visual Arts. Complete program information, descriptions, and project eligibility can be found on NYSCA’s Web site: http://www.nysca.org. Potential applicants are strongly urged to first discuss their project with a NYSCA program officer before applying.

NYSCA does not make grants for amounts under $2,500, and rarely funds the full amount of any request; most NYSCA grants provide less than 50 percent of the project’s budget. Awards are typically for 12 months.
